Jennifer Kaut M.Ed: How We “Got Our Wings…”

Inspire Behavior got it’s motto one night after my husband and I were talking about one of our own special needs children..We were discussing his future and trying to determine how much assistance he would need to succeed. When he was younger, we had had visions of building either an attachment to our home or a “mini” apartment for him next to us as he got older. We just could not envision him on his own. Fast-forward to his early teen years – I looked at my husband with tears in my eyes and said “I think he is going to fly- he has found his wings.. I think he is going to be OK.”
