Therapeutic Horseback Riding
Ages 4 and up (call for younger ages)
Note: Please call and set up an assessment first so we can create and individualized program to meet your child’s needs. Inspire Behavior will place children in groups only if the instructor deems they meet the safety qualifications. All others will be offered private 50-60 minute lessons.
Inspire Behavior has partnered with Open My World Therapeutic Riding to offer clients this service. All riding will take place at the ranch. See www.openmyworld.org to see the ranch and for directions.
Therapeutic riding is conducted with a experienced equine therapist and side handlers for safety.
Instructors work with the Behavior Specialists to create a program that will enhance your child’s social, emotional and behavioral needs.
Our equine therapists are working on their NARHA certification. All therapists are supervised by NARHA certified instructor and founder of Open My World: Donna Roland.
Each child is taught at his/her level.
We welcome any child with any special needs- please call first to discuss so we can accommodate your child appropriately.
Instructors are also certified in EAL/EAP by Greg Kersten and are expert horsemen/riders.
