3:30pm 6yrs and up Equine Assisted Learning Groups: Offering the Autism, ADHD or Self Esteem Curriculum-Starts February 26th

This group meets at Open My World Therapeutic Riding Center www.openmyworld.org.
Facilitated by: Tarsah Dale and Julie Biggs (A Behavior Analyst and A Certified Equine Assisted Learning Therapist)

Description of group: This is a 12 week group that follows a scope and sequence specific to either the needs of Autism, ADHD or Improving a Low Self Esteem. All 3 are offered- pick one at the time of registration. Students will receive a workbook containing this curriculum. A social skill is introduced at the beginning of the session and then it is generalized through an equine activity. EAL designs activities that stimulate real life scenarios for the children, teens & adults. This creates a safe place to practice how to learn to handle these situations.  Using the horses- creates a mirror of emotions and a picture of how other people may be reacting to their actions in their own life.
*See our website or pick one of Brochures for a more detailed description of each scope and sequence. Sessions are 50- 55 min long and are $35 per session. Feel free to contact us with any questions or to come for a free consultation.
